I was a new comer to Pilates, so I used Ana Caban’s beginner’s workout with my Pilates Circle. I would suggest it to anybody who would like to start Pilates. I was so impressed I brought her abs exercise. I’ve noticed an amazing enhancement in my posture, flexibility, and power, all without any of the typical stress on my joints I experience with typical exercise. After being cast snide looks at the train for taking up too much sitting space for the fourth time in a week, I decided it was high time I got a membership at a gym. When I first enrolled in a gym near my house, I was intimidated by the scores of slim and athletic people running on the thread mills and lifting weights. But after a while, I became friends with a few of them and we started to hang out and gossip during breaks. One of our many topics included jogging. One of the girls insisted that it was essential to get the best heart rate monitor to ensure that you are running at an appropriate speed. But the others seemed to disagree with her. They said that it was more important to get the right running shoes. Ones that were light and had good grip would be a much more practical investment that a heart rate monitor. I knew that I was not living the healthy that I should have been living in the past and had to hurry up to do something about that. I knew that time only ticks away. A wise man once told me, “Time is something is something that is lost but not gained”, and that was something that I was not going to let happen to me anymore. I really had to get my rear end up and put myself in to high gear. I knew that it was something that I really had to do for myself and my health. I did just that. I went to the mall and bought myself a very nice exercise bike that I really did like and started my work outs on it as soon as I could. I really think that having my own exercise bike in my own home helps out a lot.

I experienced something yesterday that I had never in my life experienced. And it is definitely something that I will do again. I visited my chiropractor yesterday and he actually had me try an inversion table. This is where you get strapped to a table by your ankles and then he slowly and virtue from being feet over head. He did not do my table to where I was completely upside down, thankfully. But he did give me and none of to where I could feel the absolute pressure relieved off of my back and my shoulders.

He allowed me to have the relief and the pain very before he did my alignment on my back. He wanted me to see exactly how it felt to be pain free, since it has been so long since it has actually happened. I welcomed it and will welcome it again. And when I got home I even began to kick around the idea of buying my own inversion table and having it in my home. This way I can use it whenever I want to.
