What Would a Designer Do?

Pretend that you are one of the designer for the p kaufman, what would you create that would add beauty and new style to their already over flowing beautiful and intricate collection?

Would you suggest a bunch or a wide array of flowerd delicatedly woven into each other like they are entertwined just like most of the designs that we see? Or would you stick to the basic such as different patterns all trying to overlap each other? Or you will go with the latest trend which is foxes imprinted all over the fabric but with a style of your own incorporated with it?

I’d say go what you think will work out better. If you think that people will continue to love teh flowery design despite the fact that’s its been a design actually used for ages but if you can make it a lot better and a lot livelier and then surely you can get away with it.

Large lacquered chest of drawers in either jet black or pure, bright ...I would like to buy some new bedroom furniture. I need a chest of drawers, a night stand, and possibly a nice lamp to match with my current decor. I find it difficult to shop for furniture individually. I have found that it is usually better to buy a matching set from the beginning in order to make sure everything looks good together. I think I can find some nice discounted pieces that will look decent with what I have already. Since I am on a budget, a package deal was not possible for me to get initially. I would rather get a bunch of pieces on sale than to pay one price for all of them. Now I have to endure the chore of making sure everything matches. I guess this is the price I have to pay for wanting to save money. I’m sure everything will work out in the end.

There was an old company that my brother used to own. They used to specialize in bathroom renovations and they told me that they could sort out my new apartment. I gave them a call and I asked to speak to the owner. I did not really want to speak to the owner, I was just curious to know who the new owner was. My brother had told me of his sale of the company but he had never told me who he was going to sell it to. The voice on the other end came through. It was my brother. The lying scum still owned the company. I wondered why he had lied to me. I placed the phone on the hook without saying a word, wondering if he had a way of identifying the number that called. I would challenge him on this topic and I did not want any more lies.

Love is the new black. It stands on a painting that hangs on the wall at the home of Therese Sennerholt. The painting is her own work and that says a lot about both her and the black and white and decorated with love of home that she now lives in.

The story began a few years ago when Therese sought a new home. The choice was between apartments, newly built townhouse in the idyllic archipelago Gustavsberg. A simple choice can seem but not if you once vowed never to live in terraced houses.

In the drawings were the sizes set to 99 square meters. Sure, all the houses looked exactly alike in the area. But they were well built, she had noticed during his many expeditions in the area. With his broken pulpettak and the well-used areas, the house looked much larger than the promised square meters. That along with the beautiful archipelago of the plot with its softly shaped rocks and conifers did she finally was able to make a decision.

- Today, I can only conclude that it was a really good choice, actually the best I’ve done for ages. The house is not excessive and it is easy to maintain. It helps that I feel incredibly good.

Now she has lived here for five years, home has become the quiet sanctuary as she sought. Here she landed, put on “fulbrallorna”, hear their own thoughts and just be.

But because she came from a house with completely different surfaces did none of the old furniture and lamps in the new home. The oversized furniture was replaced with smaller and lighter ones. On the theme ofRome was not built in a day has interior slowly been emerging.

My husband and I bought our home in December of 2007. We had moved to the area from another state, so I had never seen the inside of the house, except for some badly lit photos over the internet our realtor had sent us. Imagine my surprise when I entered the house and saw it had pink tiles and purple countertops in the kitchen! I’m into much subtler colour schemes, reflected in the warm autumn colours of the cushion covers in our livingroom. In all fairness to the previous owners, I have to say over the past few years I have grown used to them, but the colors really aren’t my cup of tea. That said, if I have the budget this year, I would dearly love to pay someone to put in some natural looking stone tiles and granite countertops. The changes would add some value to our home and make our kitchen into an area that is beautiful and welcoming, instead of a place I don’t want anyone to see. I hope my plans for the improvements come true for the year and I can say goodbye to pink and purple forever.

I had a corner in my house that needed something special. The newly built house was furnished by me and my sister and was absolutely perfect, but there was this one corner that we could not put up with and felt lonely and incomplete. So we went out to our neighborhood furniture store to find something small, comfortable and unique to fit in the corner. While cruising through the endless furniture catalogues my eyes fell on something small and blue. It was a simple piece of furniture known as bench ottoman, without arms or back support which resembled like a stool in structure but was absolutely fashionable and looked comfortable. I requested the shop assistant to take me to the ottoman bench section and vola! Alas I had found the perfect piece for my corner. The bench ottoman was a beautiful blue cushioned piece which I could use as decorative furniture to seat up my antique lamp. But above all the best feature of the piece was that it could be shifted easily from place to place and could be used as footstool, sitting stool, kids couch or let it simply hang in there and increase the home décor.
