I was furious and I decided that I was going to blog about it. I was so upset with my parents that I went out and got my own dinner because I was not going to eat with them. I was always upset when Arsenal FC lost a game but this one was particularly bad. A team of “nobodies” had beaten us and everybody gave the gunners the win when they were doing the predictions. It was upsetting to say the least and I made a reference on my blog about how rubbish the referee was. He was indeed pathetic. Every single free kick went against the Arsenal players and Stockport got absolutely everything. It was as thought the referee was the twelfth Stockport player.

Highly recommended for just about any hockey fan. I was raised 65 miles from Three Mile Island, and also the accident there had occurred two days following my 18th birthday in March 1979, and no one knew whether the incident there would have long-term unwanted effects. I bought this book on the suggestion of the close friend, saying that it had been an incredible read for just about any hockey fan, and that he was spot on. Fantastic Guide I remember the day nicely back in 1980. Many have stated this is among the best sports books ever written. If you’re a hockey fan, this tome is really a valuable version to your library. If you like hockey or the Slap Shot movies, then you’ve to read this, who does have though that the producing of the book concerning the making of the movie could be a lot fun. Overall, a fast read and a good method to bring those memories back to the surface.
